JUNIOR REPRESENTATIVE
Represent Wagga Wagga, develop your skills and be part of the Wagga Heat junior representative pathway. Our program supports young basketballers through structured development, teamwork and competitive opportunities.
About the Program
Wagga Wagga Basketball provides representative opportunities for young players who want to develop their skills and compete at a higher level. Our teams represent Wagga Wagga in Basketball NSW competitions, primarily the Waratah Southern Junior League (SJL), as well as selected tournaments.
Our Representative Pathway
Representative opportunities are offered across Under 12, Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18 boys' and girls' age groups, subject to annual trials, selections and team nominations.
Player Development and Commitment
The program combines structured training, coaching and competitive games. Players are expected to demonstrate effort, respect, teamwork, sportsmanship and commitment to training and team activities.
Trials and Selections
Trials are generally conducted ahead of each representative season. Trial dates, registration requirements and team announcements are published through WWBA's official news and communication channels.
