ACADEMY PROGRAM
Development program targeting rep and potential rep players
What is the Academy Program?
The Wagga Basketball Academy Program has been developed to support the ongoing development of junior players within our association.
The program provides additional coaching in a structured training environment, with a focus on improving core basketball skills, building confidence and supporting players as they progress through the WWBA pathway.
The Academy Program includes two streams:
Domestic Academy
The Domestic Academy supports the development of domestic basketball players and is open to Under 10s, Under 12s and Under 14s.
This program is suited to players who are looking to further develop their skills, including players who may be working towards future representative basketball opportunities.
Representative Academy
The Representative Academy is open to Under 12s, Under 14s and Under 16s.
This program is for current WWBA representative players, including development players, and focuses on building a strong WWBA identity, style of play and understanding of the representative pathway.

Who runs the program?
The Academy Program is overseen by Zac Maloney, with sessions delivered by WWBA coaches.
