Wagga Wagga Basketball Association is excited to open registrations for our 2026 Academy Programs, commencing Wednesday 29 July 2026.

This year we are running 2 separate Academy Programs, a Domestic Academy and a Representative Academy (details below). The Academy Programs will run for 8 weeks and form an important part of WWBA’s junior development pathway, providing players with additional opportunities to build their skills, confidence and understanding of the game in a structured training environment.

Domestic Academy

The Domestic Academy is open to Under 10s, Under 12s and Under 14s.

Eligibility: This program is for domestic players who are looking to further develop their skills, including players who may be working towards future representative basketball opportunities.

The program provides additional skill development, coaching and preparation in a structured training environment.

🕒 Time: Wednesdays, 4:15pm – 5:15pm

📅 Starts: Wednesday 29 July 2026

💰 Fee: $120 per player

Representative Academy

The Representative Academy is open to Under 12s, Under 14s and Under 16s.

Eligibility: This program is for current WWBA representative players, including development players.

This program will focus on building a strong WWBA identity and style of play, while supporting players to continue developing within the representative pathway.

🕒 Time: Wednesdays, 5:20pm – 6:20pm

📅 Starts: Wednesday 29 July 2026

💰 Fee: $120 per player
