Wagga Wagga Basketball Association is proud to announce that local junior and club stalwart, Zac Maloney, has re-signed as Head Coach of the Men’s Waratah League team for the 2026 and 2027 seasons.

In addition, Zac’s title for his broader role within the Association has been updated to reflect the incredible work he is doing. Zac will now serve as Player & Coach Development Manager, recognising his outstanding contribution to the development of both players and coaches across the region.

A lifelong supporter of Wagga basketball, Zac has invested countless hours into mentoring coaches, developing local talent and building a strong, connected pathway from our junior programs through to our senior representative teams. His loyalty, passion and commitment to the club are second to none and this extension is a fitting recognition of his impact both on and off the court.
