Wagga Wagga Basketball Association (WWBA) invites nominations from eligible members for election to the Board of Directors.

Election Details

📅 Date of Election: Thursday, 29 October 2026 (at the AGM)

📍 Location: PCYC

Positions Available

Six (6) Director positions for a two-year term:

• Three (3) existing vacant Director positions; and

• Three (3) Director positions where the current two-year terms expire at the 2026 AGM

Directors whose terms expire at the AGM are eligible to nominate for election for a further term, subject to the WWBA Constitution.

Nomination Requirements

In accordance with Clause 15 of the WWBA Constitution:

• Nominations must be submitted in writing using the official nomination form.

• Nominations must be signed by two (2) current Individual Members of WWBA.

• The nominee must also be a current Individual Member and consent to the nomination.

• Completed nomination forms must be received by 5:00pm on Monday, 19 October 2026.

Additional Information

• Members nominate for election as a Director of WWBA, rather than for a specific portfolio or office bearer position.

• Specific office bearer and portfolio responsibilities, including President and Treasurer, are determined by the Board following the AGM.

• Where the number of nominations is equal to or fewer than the number of available positions, nominees must be approved by a majority of eligible members present at the AGM.

• Where the number of nominations exceeds the number of available positions, an election will be conducted at the AGM in accordance with the WWBA Constitution.

The formal Notice of Annual General Meeting, agenda and associated meeting papers will be issued separately.
