Head Coach EOI, 2026 Women’s Program

We are on the Hunt for Senior Women’s Head Coach! 👀
Wagga Wagga Basketball Association (WWBA) is excited to announce that we are recruiting for a Head Coach to lead our Wagga Senior Women’s Program for the 2026 season!
Whether we take the court in the Waratah Women’s League or the Waratah Youth League in 2026 will depend on the age and experience of players who trial and commit to the team and the successful coach will play a central role in shaping that squad. 🔥
About the Role
As Head Coach, you’ll be responsible for:
Leading all coaching, training and recruiting duties for the Wagga senior women’s team
Developing and implementing game strategies and performance plans
Fostering a professional, inclusive and high-performance team environment
Collaborating with assistant coaches, team staff and WWBA administrators
Representing the program at all league fixtures, meetings and promotional events
Who We’re Looking For
We’re on the hunt for a passionate and experienced coach who brings:
Proven coaching experience at a representative or high-performance level
Strong leadership, communication and team management skills
A commitment to player development, integrity and WWBA values
Minimum Club Coach (Level 2) accreditation (or working towards)
A current NSW Working With Children Check
Remuneration
Remuneration will be negotiated with the successful applicant, based on experience, qualifications and program commitments.
